Pally and Lid system

Why use the Pally & Lid system

Watch a [home-made] illustration of the difference the Pally & Lid system can make:

Click on the bullets below to learn more;

Reduction in waste and packaging costs

  • Completely reusable transit packaging system
  • The Lid secures the load with no requirement for one trip packaging
  • Eliminates material costs of disposable alternatives
  • No waste

Increased labour productivity and reduced cost

  • No time wasted searching for, locating and returning mechanical handling equipment
  • No reliance on use of forklift or pump truck equipment to move product
  • Faster unloading and loading times
  • Users can move product from A to B independently and instantly
  • Unlike a roll cage, the Pally base is accessible from 4 sides making loading and picking from the unit quick and easy

Instant Stability as a pallet

  • Compatible with automated production lines
  • Secure in transit
  • Can be racked and stacked safely

Instant mobility as a wheeled dolly

  • One pedal press to convert to wheeled dolly
  • Pally & Lid weigh only 21kg in total, more than 50% less than a standard roll cage, highly maneouvrable when loaded, easy to carry and stack
  • Pedals located at both ends means Pally drives safely onto tail lifts and prevents unit from becoming inoperable if stored

Security

  • Lid clamps the load to prevent product damage or spillage
  • Security seals around the ratchet mechanism evidence opportunistic tampering or theft

Increased vehicle fill – transport savings

  • 64 units per vehicle load vs 40 – 45 achieved with standard roll cages
  • With optional upstands the Lid provides the potential to double stack Pally loads in transit
  • When empty the system is fully stackable and nestable, with 10 systems returnable in one Euro pallet space
  • Lightweight system reduces carbon emissions and allows more product to be stacked safely per Pally unit

Improved Health and Safety

  • Improved security on tail lifts and in transit as a pallet
  • Reductions in one site MHE traffic in often space restricted environments
  • Lighter and easier to use than traditional equipment solutions
  • No bending or cutting associated with traditional one trip packaging materials
